He'll need to find someone, but he'll also need be cautious so as not to get in step with the wrong woman. Tag along with Rachel as she endeavors to discover love. During a time when arranged marriages are prevalent, Racheal has to beat the odds life has handed her. Rachel: A Darkened Path: is the first book in a series. From the Author
Rachel is the first book in a historical romance series. It has been a story born from a love of the 1800 era. The idea for Rachel started when I worked on a research project at a local hospital training school for nurses. Medical science has come a long way since the 1800s and I wondered what it would be like for someone to live with a disability in that era, especially women.
As I started writing the character of Rachel began to grown. She changed from a scared young girl to blossom into a strong young woman. I cheered for her when she overcame obstacles that were thrown her way. I cried when all appeared lost to her.
Rachel has been my first published book and the journey has been the most satisfying and exciting experience I have ever undertaken.
The book Rachel is part of a series with the second book being a continuation following both Rachel and her daughter Rose in an epic adventure leading to a a discovery of love and a renewal of love .
About the Author
Christina lives with herhusband and two sons on their Chilli and garlic farm in Pokeno, New Zealand.Writing and storytelling have been a passion for as long as she can remember.As a stay-at-home mum, she home-schooled her children and owned a successfulsecretarial business. She loves nothing more than writing on her laptop whilesitting on her deck, overlooking a field of chilli and garlic. Christina alsowrites a monthly for a Lifestyle magazine, sharing her adventures in creatingher own a slice of paradise in the country. Christina is also writing a seriesof biblical theology books titled The Book of Revelation Our Future in ourpast.

Just Skip It!

I can't even go into detail about all the ways this book is awful. Awful whiny doormat heroine. Awful dumb as a post hero. Awful modern dialogue and actions. Awful villains, Awful continuity. Absolutely no editing. There is a way to write a good short novel. This is a master class in exactly how NOT to do so.

I loved this novel

I loved this novel. I got it when it was in 3 parts and after the 1st book I got both the others so wouldn't have to wait and go straight onto it. It was a beautifully written book. The discriptions of scenes etc were so real that I could feel myself there. The twists I certainly didn't see coming. This is my type of book, romance but drama interwoven into it. It is as good as any I have read from other famous authors. I couldn't put it down and look forward to reading more from this up and coming author.
