A fun read with a lot of potential

I wonder what it would be like to live a life in which I had yet to taste love.

I was the girl growing up that had my prom dress picked out by the time I was four and I wanted to be like Ariel. I had always taken it for granted that I would fall in love, to the point that I projected my expectations onto innocent, unsuspecting males during my schooling years. Nikki isn't like that. She just likes the normal (as in those that don't have abnormal powers) humans and she looks like she's fifteen, so she lives her life as a teenager, despite being much older than what her looks portray.

It's a story that tugs at your heartstrings. Ace is sweet, but he has his own problems too. Nikki goes through a good amount of character development as well- I mean, how do you tell the guy you like you have powers? That you're not actually fifteen?

It's a fun read with a lot of potential. Recommended for high school and up.

“Why couldn’t I love Ace Alchemy?”

This was a YA paranormal story with witches and vampires.

Nikki was an okay character, and she certainly didn’t back down from a fight. It did seem unfair that she couldn’t be with Ace, but she really didn’t let that stop her!

The storyline in this was about Nikki falling in love with a boy called Ace, only to find out that because she was a witch and he was a vampire they weren’t allowed to be together, and because Nikki wouldn’t let it drop, she ended up being punished for it. The romance in this was quite brief though, and pretty one sided, and we also got a love triangle when another girl also had a thing for Ace.

The ending to this was a bit of a cliff-hanger.

Highly Recommended Outstanding Book In How To Lose Weight

The "Simple Baby Steps to Permanent Weight Loss & True Cellular Health by Greg J. Kelly" is a great book for anyone who is truly looking for a healthy permanent way to lose weight and/or a very informative book that can educate a person step by step on how to be healthy and more.

From my experience with reading this book, I have learned so much useful educational information about the human body, how to lose weight, important foods, products, and more. I have to say, this book is truly straight forward and is a life changer because it opens your eyes to the reality of the foods we are eating in our society and the drastic effects it has on our body.

I am very happy I have purchased this book because I have been searching for ways to lose weight and this book gives that with so much more. This book is not like most typical weight loss books that only give you a bit of information to get you by your weight loss goal somewhat. I have attached the table of contents to this review for anyone who is interested in knowing the sections in the book.

I recommend this book to anyone who is look for a book that's going to truly help them with their weight lost journey. Also, if I had one thing bad to say about this book it would be the typo and disorganization of the table of contents. But although that section is not the best, the information in this book overrides that issue. I hope my review for this product was helpful for you in your decision.

Simple Baby Steps to Permanent Weight Loss and True Cellular Health is a informative, educational, and supportive e-book that anyone overweight, thin, old, or young could benefit from reading. I love the format of the book as it has funny pictures, food pictures, and others that make it an enjoyable read. As you probably know self-help books can feel monotonous when reading them and this book has found a way to break that monotony up with the use of pictures, humor, facts, formatting, and more. Great job Greg J Kelly as I often don't finish these types of books since they usually leave me so bored and it ends up on the read later pile and then collect dust. I have had this book opened almost everyday for encouragement and needed information. I could just go on and on about how happy I am that I really enjoyed reading a self-help book!! lol

I found each chapter had information, data, or facts that I did not know about. Important information about food, my body, toxins, even sunscreen or other gems of knowledge by Kelly. I have been referring to this book often and taking a new approach to my total body health and changing how, when, and what I eat and do to see if these steps are the answer to my years and years of horrible health mistakes. Greg Kelly provides you with a plan of attack to create a new healthy you so you can achieve your goals and feel great because you are getting healthy.

I will give you an example of the first thing I changed after reading this book and I am still sticking to it! If it says corn syrup or corn sugar it does not get purchased or eaten by me or my husband. I have added many more changes but don't want to say too much for the sake of supporting our authors and their work, but in two weeks I have found that I feel better, healthier, and have more energy than I have felt in years. I am 52 and my energy ran away around 45. Well it is starting to return and I am thrilled about that. I highly recommend this book and feel anyone would benefit from it. If you want straight up help with changing your lifestyle, mindset, and habits to healthier ones and not just a bunch of useless coaching and boring recipes, calories, etc.. READ this book and get the knowledge you need and can use.

I found this book to be very informative and motivational. Packed with well-researched educational information on how to stay healthy, lose weight and maintain optimum health. This book includes tons of enlightening information that gives you a new perspective about dieting and losing weight.

Greg J. Kelly’s book,” Simple Baby Steps to Permanent Weight Loss and True Cellular Health," gave me the insights to understanding that it doesn’t matter how much you weigh, what matters is how healthy you are. Kelly hits it right off the bat by using an excellent example by saying you could be 100 pounds, toxic, sluggish and have a high fat percentile, what good is it being thin if your body is not functioning at optimum health.

Kelly clearly and concisely explains the importance of incorporating cellular health into our life. Simple Baby Steps to Permanent Weight Loss and True Cellular Health is the key to a happy, healthy and productive life. If we change our lifestyle they will have no choice, but to change too because the demand for it will be gone. I am up for the challenge. Are you?

Freaky: likely to make you want to hurl

I didn't enjoy this book, but still read the entire story. I can't give it a terrible rating though, because all literature is an art, and I'm certain there are plenty of readers whom would eat this up. Plus, I never wrote a book - could I do any better? The jury is still out on that one, because no - I've not ever written one, so I find it impossible to despise this book.

I will say this: I'm definitely am not a prude, but some things in this story actually made me ill. I am an RN and have a pretty oblique sense of humor if that gives you any indication of my tolerance level. Other things were so purely raunchy and disgusting I felt my face actually twist in revulsion and nausea - keep in mind I am someone who has cleaned up all bodily fluids a human can produce, and seen things on the job most humans wish never to see - all without losing my stomach contents, then discussing it over lunch with other RN's (one of which whom once had a maggot in a bottle in his pocket he picked off a patient's wound - I'm certain the maggot was happy to have escaped). If I was revolted, then this story is pretty knarly.

Again, definitely a market for that sort of story, but not my cup of tea. So I give it a 2.75 with the disclaimer not for everyone - but also with a plea to support indie writers. If you like the absolutely depraved, then this one is for you my friend. :)

Another Smash Hit From This Author!

This is the third book that I have read from this author. If you are a fan of extreme horror that is written so graphically that it gives you nightmares, download it now. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Every single character is disgusting. Loved it.

Hell High by John Raptor is a book that I found to be amazing. There wasn't one character in the book that wasn't some disgusting sexual pervert or deviant. I laughed so many times while reading this book. I love the works of Ed Lee and his more twisted writings and where this is not as full out crazy as some of Lees writing, this one is for sure a kick.

Now of course it lives up to its name. Its not a book for anyone looking for a nice story. Its just flat out, lets see how many disgusting people we can get into a story. The high school kids, the teachers, the principal, the coach, the parents...all of them, total scumbags in as many ways as possible. Once you accept that you are dealing with a book like this you are all set. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

This one was worth the read. Every so often one needs to read something so out of the norm. This one does it.

Author eloquently tells a spellbinding story. Beyond unique!

I received an ARC copy for my honest review of Flying Away.

My review is 4.5 stars so I bumped it to a 5 star.

I must admit that this is not what I thought it would be. I was also initially taken aback by the writing style. However, I promised to read it and so read it I did...and am so glad!
Before I get into it I have to say that this cover is absolutely stunning! Probably my favorite cover ever and I am a voracious reader. Okay. Now to the fun stuff!
Author Caroline Gill has such a unique and beautiful style of writing. Her descriptions are eloquent and detailed. This was what initially put me off. Not because I didn't like it but because instead of reading a fast paced book that played out like a movie in my mind's eye this one made me slow down and savor what she was writing. Instead of playing out like a movie in my mind's eye this was like a song, words weaving a spellbinding tale.
I was a bit perplexed by some things wondering why they were there as they didn't fit in. This I took note was up until the last quarter of the story. Then it all came together and made perfect sense! So clever! Also a very, very unique tale. Very refreshing not reading the same things!
Kudos on your first release Caroline Gill!!

Unfolds Like a Magical Flower--Beautiful Storytelling!

Flying Away is one of the most imaginative paranormal/dystopian YA stories I've ever read. I thought I'd be disgusted because...flies. But Gill's writing is lyrical and the story feels touched by a magical realism that I absolutely love. I loved Iolani and Mal, and I was touched by her devotion to her cousin (and to Mango!). Warning: this is not a fast read. You have to take your time and let the story unfold. You'll be glad once you reach the end and realize how perfectly it is all brought together. Well done!

Very different story, but absolutely wonderful

This book started out….strange. I had no idea what the heck was going on and had a very hard time understanding what was happening. But I was definitely intrigued and bewildered by Iolani’s strange ability to communicate with the flies. But as I continued reading I found myself hooked. I was mystified and attached to Iolani and her quest. By the end, I was crying and cheering and just so happy with the ending and the outcome of this story. Refreshing and a very different story than anything else out there.

Engaging and Compelling Read

I'll start by saying this is the first Amazon review I've ever written. I found this book so compelling, I felt I had to.

The author does an amazing job of pulling the reader into her story. Thoughts, feelings, and emotions are all conveyed in a way that allows the reader to share the experience. Even if you wrote a piece of fiction, you'd be hard pressed to come up with a more thought provoking story.

As a male, I think what amazed me the most was how much I was able to get out of the read. Obviously I'm not a birthmother (and unless there are some major medical advances on the horizon, it's not going to happen in this lifetime ;-) ), but there was a ton of information that I could relate to. Approaching the book with a completely open mind, I found it took me on an incredible journey, teaching me a lot in the process. I have a huge amount of respect for a mother who can be faced with arguably one of life's most difficult decisions, and still make a selfless choice.

The last section of the book (contemplation for meditation) really blew me away. Through blind trial-and-error, I managed to stumble onto some of those ideas on my own, but I couldn't help thinking how much easier it would have been if I had been able to read this book sooner. Whether young or old, female or male, this book offers something for everyone.

Truly, truly, an enjoyable read. I'll close by saying "thank you" to the author for sharing her story.

Rebekkah Ford is an award-winning author who writes paranormal fiction. She believes her fascination with the unknown derives from her childhood. When her parents were married, they were the directors of the UFO Investigator's League. They also investigated ghost hauntings and Bigfoot sightings in addition to extraterrestrial cases. Rebekkah's upbringing, knowledge, and experiences with the paranormal world, along with her colorful imagination, aids her in creating her stories.

Received this book as a gift...

Loved Ameerah's story! She grew up in the 1920's in a wealthy family. However, she didn't like the snobby types her parents hung around. Ameerah wanted to be a flapper gal, was in love her best friend and loved to drink and smoke. All things someone of her social standing should not be doing. When her parents find out about her extra curricular activities, they have her commuted to a insane asylum where she is abused, raped then murdered. How will Ameerah face life after death? I loved learning about her story and what she tells her present day best friend Derek. I will say there were some shocking moments towards the end you won't see coming. If Ameerah was a real life person/spirit, she would totally be fun to hang out with. I was definitely in her corner the entire story.

A must read!

I was given a ARC to read and review this book, and boy was I glad! Great read. Join Ameerah in the present as she recalls her past to a friend. The horrors she went thought are unimaginable. This recalling helps explain why she became a Dark Spirit! This book is a part of the Beyond the Eyes series, but can be read alone. So very well written! You'll what to get the series after you read this to enjoy a great Author's work! Rebekkah Ford is someone to watch!

I Am IN LOVE with Ameerah!! -There, I said it and I mean it!!!

I received this book for a fair, unbiased review and it was by far one of the best things I've ever done. I am absolutely in love with Ameerah!!! It is a book that is set during a very interesting time period, the Roaring Twenties, which adds so much to the charm of this book and character. It is also full of some sadness, because back in those days, they believed they could use torturous shock procedures to "fix" anything that might be wrong with you, i.e. like Ameerah actually having a "real" view on life, that I just fell in love with. Anyone who loves a good solid story, is interested in that time period, loves paranormal or any combination of all, will be MORE than pleased with this book, because it contains elements that can speak to anyone. Ameerah's mantra, if you will is "some birds cannot be caged I am one of them"-a shared sentiment between her & I for sure, so she is very easy for me to relate to. Another of my favorite quotes is the exact way I feel about life, and this shows Ameerah's incredible take on life "What I did and how I chose to live my life was my own damned business What right did they have to encroach their standards upon mine? As long as I did no harm to anyone.....well, one's who didn't deserve to suffer.....what business was it of theirs? None." Those were her thoughts and feelings when her parents decided to ambush her and drop her into an asylum for not thinking or acting properly (according to their standards). That is part of the saddness in the book, but Ameerah being as tough as she is, fights with every fiber of her being.
Rebekkah Ford has a way of painting such a visual that I feel as if I've been transported to that era and living right alongside the characters. I could fangirl and gush all over the place about this book, because there is nothing I did not enjoy about it. I do believe I have found a new favorite female character!
This novel follows in suit to her other books, with characters from them, but can most certainly be read as a standalone and still make perfect sense. Rebekkah Ford has all her ducks in a row with this one and you can tell she did some serious research with all the accurate references and language terminology she uses. It's just brilliant. The only thing I will warn you, if you read this book you will most certainly become addicted to Rebekkah Ford and I guarantee you'll be overly anxious to read her other books (which I recommend highly as well)
It is certainly a book that provokes lots of emotions and every second of it is enjoyable. I know I will re-read this book several times, just to live vicariously through Ameerah! The only thing I need right now is a Bee's Knee's drink and I'll be perfectly equipped to hang around with Ameerahs "dark spirit" after she meets her demise (sad point)
A wonderfully paced story, that is spot on for it's time period.
The only other thing I can say, is grab your copy now and I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Ameerah is a true gem, as is her creator Rebekkah Ford-you won't be able to put it down!! I can't wait to see the impact Ameerah has on the reading world because I expect nothing short fo greatness for this book!!

Incredible Find!! Suspense Fantasy

What an awesome read!! A must for anyone who loves an anazing escape from reality into a world of adventure, fantasy and suspense. Sadiq Miller has discovered how to intricately weave the lives of his characters together after breathing life into them!! Once you start reading you will not want to put down!!
