After being coaxed into working as a teen counsellor on a local youth hotline, she strikes up a friendship with a troubled guy called Mike. One day, Mike asks Ginny out on a date, and she boldly agrees but, soon loses the courage and forces Denise to take her place by pretending to be her. Denise and Mike seem to hit it off and Ginny is left feeling even more insecure than she has ever felt before. After being persuaded by Denise to join them on a date, Ginny realises her mistake as she finds that she is strongly attracted to Mike as well. Will Ginny be able to tell Denise the truth about her feelings for Mike? And Will Mike ever get to know the *real* Ginny?

LOVE SVH!

I grew up with the SVH books and I loved them so much. So in 2011 I decided I would purchase the entire collection! It took me a couple of months but between AMAZON and Ebay I have bought them all. Still great books and something I would pass on to a little girl to enjoy, they are truly timeless reads!

Ginny Belesa gets on Project Youth helpline with the help of her best friend[wish I had one,Puppy dog pout],Denise Hadley. She enounters Mike Perrine,on the phone,his mother is getting remarried,and he didn't know that she was dating anyone. His father died. Ginny feels the same way,her father died,too. The both have stepfathers. She sends Denise on to meet Mike to pretend to be Ginny,at The Dairi Burger,The Lucky Duck Ice Cream Parlor,The Movies,Ginny pretends to be Denise. Elizabeth is writing an article for The Oracle about Sexual Harrassment over teachers from students,because Amy Sutton,who works at Project Youth had this call that a student at one of the schools,was beging sexually harrassed by a teacher,and she told Jessica,and Jessica told Elizabeth and Todd. Mr. Cooper and Mr.Collins told Elizabeth to delete the article. Jay McQuire and Denise Hadley break up due to both Ginny and Denise falling in love with Mike,but Jay and Denise get back together.
