Pleased with the Protocol

The authors have many years of experience in health and fitness and they have provided routines that are easy to incorporate in a busy day. I went through the books first and appreciated the photos of some very fit men. They’re inspirational. The book focuses on exercise, not nutrition. That’s fine for my husband. He’s diabetic and has his own diet to follow. He’s just interested in an exercise protocol to follow and he’s very pleased that I picked these up for him.

Develop your shoulders

This series by Paul Martin and William O'Brien is most precisely a group of how-to manuals written by two people who have been there and done that, insofar as body building and self-development is concerned. You'll find no arcane philosophy, no group to join, no mantra to repeat -- jsut clear, concise instructions. If you were a HUM-V, you'd want this in your glove compartment as part of your user manual. Photos underscore the salient point: what results are possible for isolating parts of the body and optimizing one after another.
This is the manual for developing your shoulders. Buy it. Try it. If you do as instructed, wonders may occur.

Great quick read, and helpful guide

Great guide and workouts.

As a former competitive runner and Master Fitness Trainer in the Army, I have always loved working out.
My husband benefitted a lot more by this book because of the intensity.
But it didn't mean I did not enjoy it.
