Wonderfully written, steady pace, and attention to detail...Love Jake Hunter

While the first two books in the Jake Hunter series set the tone and conveyed an all too real view behind the law enforcement scene, Unseen Carnage takes it to the next level. The author has hit his stride with this group of characters. Drawing you into the consequences of crime and the hard work and dedication of the local police force. He takes you to the street, and sits you down inside the investigation. He allows you see the personal, emotional struggle that many officers deal with in the course of finding justice. Set in my hometown, I recognize every street name and every location. This made the ride more entertaining for me but his attention to detail will make anyone feel like they are driving the streets of Ft. Worth with Cowboy and Billy.

Better than "Parr" for the course!

More good stuff from Joe Parr, the Ft. Worth, Texas, writer who published three books with the same lead characters. Joe addresses social issues along with his crime stories that make for good information and good reading. Read "The Victim" first, then Stolen Innocence",then this one. Actually had Joe at our book club last week and he was delightful and full of information about writing and publishing a book. Seemingly his stories are like real life and not "over the top" impossible. Many mystery writers and books out there, but Joe Parr is excellent. Try it!

Great Read - Won't be able to put it down

Loved every aspect of Unseen Carnage as I have all of Joe B. Parr's books. This book was dedicated to my daughter who lost her life to a drug overdose in 2014 and details many of the issues with the drug crises our nation faces. When Joe approached me about including a character named Jessica Hunter, offered to help us spread awareness of the I Know Jessica project, and provided me an opportunity to read the manuscript I wholeheartedly supported his efforts. You will be glad you read this book. Sincerely, Jessica’s dad.
