Just an average Sweet Valley High book
By A Customer
Before I even read this book I had to laugh, because I have another Sweet Valley High book with an almost identical cover but that time it was Jessica who was running away. The topic of this book is the Wakefield parents not getting along, with Alice Wakefield's career coming between the family. The cover is a little misleading though, Elizabeth is running away because Jessica blames her for their parents' problems. Well she doesn't even attempt to run away until practically the end of the book! I won't say where she "runs away" to, but it's a little obvious, and if I were her parents I would have found her in about 10 minutes!

daddy? daddy come home!!

The twins parents seperate and Lizzy takes it the hardest because Jessica blames her for it. So instead of punching Jess in the mouth, she decides to run away...for like the night...at her friends house. Umm isnt that called a sleepover?? Since this is a serious subject there is quite a bit of melodrama which I luckily can't relate to. My dad was never around to begin with. So BOOYAH Sweet Valley!

Also there is an ongoing subplot from the last book about Jess meeting some guy from a 900 # party hotline. Whatevs. Not one of the best SVH, but readable.
